Dagens Industri has interviewed Simplicity’s fund manager Ulf Ingemarson in the article “The Year’s Best Fund Manager: 13 Stocks We Are Buying Right Now.”
In the article, Dagens Industri highlights Simplicity Sverige as the best-performing actively managed Sweden fund so far this year.
“The best-performing actively managed Sweden fund so far this year is Simplicity Sverige, managed by Ulf Ingemarson. Unlike several competitors, the fund is based on a systematic strategy focused on momentum and volatility, where stocks with relatively strong and stable price performance are prioritized over weaker stocks,” writes Dagens Industri.
Ulf discusses the largest contributors to the fund’s performance during the first half of the year, his outlook on the market, and portfolio positioning ahead of the second half of the year.
“I am very positive about the stock market going forward. One concern that has hopefully eased somewhat is the oil price. I believe oil prices will decline, which could in turn reduce inflation concerns. That would be positive for the stock market,” Ulf says in the article.
