Our fund offering with a global mandate, which is focused on smaller companies globally.
Simplicity Småbolag Global is our latest addition to our fund offering. The Fund invests in small and medium-sized companies all over the world with a market value of less than USD 5 billion. Historically, small cap stocks have generated a higher return than large cap stocks. Thanks to a smaller size, smaller companies have greater potential to grow. They are often strong niche players or active in new technological areas and are often expanding to new markets. Often the founders of small companies are still in the business, which bodes well for continued growth and orderly management. The Fund has the whole world as its playing field, and thanks to the global orientation, greater diversification and lower volatility is achieved. Simplicity Småbolag Global is thus suitable for investors who want a global risk diversification and seek higher possible returns than traditional global funds.
At Simplicity, responsible investments and sustainability are important parts of our asset management. We have therefore chosen to sign PRI, the United Nations supported guidelines for responsible investments. We are also members of Swesif, a network for organizations working for or with sustainable investments in Sweden. Simplicity Småbolag Global does not invest in companies that exploits fossil fuels, and has in addition chosen to exclude companies whose sales are attributable by more than 5% from the production or sale of alcohol, tobacco, pornography, weapons or gambling.
